This is great work for only 10 hours of work. I am super slow when it comes to drawing on the computer and am constantly distracted by other things, so think nothing of it, that's great time!
First impression? This picture looks great! My eyes are immediately brought to the center of the picture and then gradually everything else begins to reveal itself.
The detail is great. I love the smokey effect you put in with the lights, it really brings out the characters and lets the background do exactly what it is meant to do, be the background. Good shadowing/shading for a vector image, usually people just make flat vector shadows, but I you put some more effort into it and made it look like it fades from bright to dark. Also, great touch with the pony on the Scootaloo's guitar, it is totally awesome! The colors are good as well, they contrast well and everything looks proportional.
Great POV, the tilt on the image makes the this picture stand out against the rest giving it more of a rebellion like feel it to, adding to the theme of the picture itself. Rockin out! \m/ >_< \m/
Also, just wanted to add that the ponies in the front are a great addition to the picture. I like how you shaded them darkly instead of just making them black figures like you see in many of these kinds of images. Even though they are not what everyone looks at, you still paid a lot of attention to detail to this part of the image making it look great!
In conclusion, great picture, already subscribed! :]
First off, I find the picture clear and crisp. Good job on the perpective. Most pictures lack a sense of that.
Next, it's great to see fan art of Season 1. Most Bronies have got lost in the trend of Alicorn Twilight and all this new stuff from Season 3. Back to the art though, It's a really eye catching piece.
Now I shall talk about the technique. As you stated, and it's as clear as day in the picture; It's a vector based image. Using the vector technique does link up with the show's style quite well. It shows a strong connection between your art and the show, as if this was a printscreen or photo.
Back to the angle and perspective; I like how you've added the raving and dancing ponies at the bottom, shaded in to not take your attention off the main event. It's the cherry on the cake! Though, as I look closer, AppleBloom's muzzle looks slightly too long. But it's barely noticable and doesn't look entirably wrong.
I adore the poses the CMC are in, the smoke was an awesome touch and the guitars, (which are difficult to draw in my opinion) are spot on. Especially in the angle they're both in. I like the print on scootaloo's instrument. And Sweetie Belle is on solo vocals, so she's bound to get her Cutie Mark!
Overall, a beautiful piece of art which is really interesting to look at! It makes the viewers want to be there.
